Satisfying rustic atmosphere. Pleasant and friendly service by the dining crew ( she was alone!) efficient service nonetheless! I had the Angus 8oz burger and added cheese and an extra 8 oz patty, medium rare, delicious! The pickle was nicely salty and balanced out the double patty i ate.

The Firecracker shrimp and sausage was quite flavorful. It could have used more heat to it, but the red pepper flakes served with it took care of that. The sautéed veggies with it and the mashed potatoes were very good too. Friendly folks behind the bar as well. The live music finished things up quite nicely

My hotel receptionist recommended I come here. I enjoyed sitting at the bar with my bartender, I wish I could remember his name though. My nachos were really good, my fish tacos need a little bit of work, the fish needs more flavor to it. I’m comparing that to the fish tacos. I got downtown by the water which were a solid 9 1/2 out of 10. And other tacos I’ve eaten around the country. The restaurant could definitely use an update, but when the band started playing and the local started coming and chatting with each other, the atmosphere did get better in the restaurant. Highly recommend the bartender, he’s very good.

Excellent deli/diner type restaurant, directly next to the Holiday Inn Express, Burlingame. Perfect for when you're laying over to catch a flight, and need a meal. I stayed there specifically because I needed dinner before catching a morning flight. The menu selections are excellent, but the Reuben sandwich was my choice, and it was excellent. Even with a large party there, service was prompt, so the staff are very efficient.

Had a good selection of food and portions were on the large side. The taste even outdid that, with that made with love of food in mind. They were able to adopt things to our liking and it came out as asked. Very friendly server that kept all smooth and did her job like she enjoyed it.

Max's of Burlingame, located in front of Holiday Inn Express San Francisco-Airport South Burlingame, was the one restaurant in the area. It offered moderate dishes at reasonable price. It featured a typical dining area and bar area. Some dishes could take a while while its soup could come instantly.

Excellent dinner. Had the Ruben, Tilapia and veggies. Both were very good. Has a regular seating area and a bar area where they had live piano player. Interior is dated but charming. Waitress awesome.
